Trouble deleting your online dating Profile

Posted by:

As of late, I’ve decided to move from a non-paying site to a paid site. Needless to say, I wanted to delete my old accounts from free online dating sites. I’d rather focus on a new approach with a paid site, although that doesn’t mean I think free sites are “bad”. However, I’ve read the horror stories about getting incorrect charges or autorenewals when using a paid dating service. That is, people complain that the dating sites are still charging ...

My First date success or failure?

Posted by:

Hello everyone – I am happy to announce that I had my first date. We met at a funky little coffee shop, not the average Starbucks.

I normally don’t like when people only post one profile picture, but I could tell through our communication that she was different and defiantly real. I was happy to meet her for a coffee. We seemed to hit things off well. She had her back up text come in but still stayed so I was ...

Running into someone you know on a dating site

Posted by:

Running into someone you know online dating can either be a good thing or a bad thing. For me, it happened to be a good thing. It’s funny seeing people you know online, and thinking why are they single? Other times you might be saying to yourself “I know why you’re single.”
While browsing through the photos online I have come across three people that I know. The one I dated for a short period of time and never want to ...

Four weeks into online dating

Posted by:

I’ve tried Brad’s method of contacting as many people as possible to improve my odds of getting a date. In my opinion, it’s not the best approach for me. I have a hard time going out with someone just to have a date. Having quality over quantity seems a better road to go down. Over the last two weeks, I have in a sense increased my odds by joining another free dating site called Plenty of Fish.

Although I have written ...

There’s this quiet perception that can sometimes arise while we’re reading profiles, connecting with someone, and assessing whether we wish to go deeper and to more intimate levels with a date. It is a view that has immense power, and yet is so often left unnoticed like a stealthy sneak, dodging our awareness ...

Dealing With Template Messages

Posted by:

As it turns out, it is not an uncommon experience to receive template messages while online dating. These are the messages that speak generally, lack any attempt to connect over something personal written in your profile, and they give the sense that the message is being copy-pasted to many other singles. Sometimes, these template messages can ...
