Trouble deleting your online dating Profile

Posted by:

As of late, I’ve decided to move from a non-paying site to a paid site. Needless to say, I wanted to delete my old accounts from free online dating sites. I’d rather focus on a new approach with a paid site, although that doesn’t mean I think free sites are “bad”. However, I’ve read the horror stories about getting incorrect charges or autorenewals when using a paid dating service. That is, people complain that the dating sites are still charging ...

Four weeks into online dating

Posted by:

I’ve tried Brad’s method of contacting as many people as possible to improve my odds of getting a date. In my opinion, it’s not the best approach for me. I have a hard time going out with someone just to have a date. Having quality over quantity seems a better road to go down. Over the last two weeks, I have in a sense increased my odds by joining another free dating site called Plenty of Fish.

Although I have written ...

Is Online Dating Easier for Women?

Posted by:

We all have our biased perspectives to online dating, based on the gender we identify with. While everyone has a chance to meet their special someone online, there are also some very real cultural norms that just might give women (and especially femme women) an easier time when it comes to finding a date online.

The traditional approach to dating is ...

Criteria For a Healthy Relationship

Posted by:

Our future relationships may be served by our past loverships when they are remembered as a means to helping us grow as individuals. We may return to our past relationships in memory to instill gratitude for the lessons that have helped us learn more about who we are, to identify what we will accept in future relationships, and to realize what we will not accept. Once these inspiring points are recognized and replace pain-based perspectives of past relationships, we become ...

Should I Tell Anyone I am Giving Online Dating a Try?

Posted by:

First things first: there is nothing you should do aside from what you are ready for. Telling people you are giving online dating a try really is not a huge deal, rather it is an opportunity to express, to share and in turn receive feedback and support. If you remain stuck in what to do, however, then let us break it down together.

A Woman’s Approach to Online Dating

Posted by:

Everybody online is looking for a little something different—some may be looking for a casual dinner partner on Friday nights, others may be looking for a new father-figure for their children. I make no claims to be in the mindset of everybody, but from my lips to your ears, here is my (fairly typical) thought process as I log-in to my online dating profile.

It starts with a look at the subject line and first sentence I can read in ...

Online Dating Around Valentine’s Day

Posted by:

For singles, Valentine’s Day can bring one stinging reminder after the next of a person’s solo status. The onset of advertisements ranging from heart-shaped confections to fine dining promotions can be pretty pervasive and comes neatly wrapped in a red satin bow. But if your calendar is still wide open on February 14th, here are a few thoughts to consider.

If you’re looking for a relationship, Valentine’s Day really isn’t all it’s ...

Too Shy to Date

Posted by:

Do you consider yourself too shy to date? There was a time in my life where I felt that way. Either I didn’t go on any dates (sometimes for years) or, when I tried, I ended up feeling more stress than enjoyment. However, I knew I was unhappy being single. Fortunately, I found a method to dating that works…even for someone who considered himself “too shy” to approach women or to go on a date without looking stressed out.

Maybe you’re ...
