What Online Dating Site is Right for Me?

Posted by:

Picking a dating site that you feel comfortable with is not always easy. I’m going to review a few in this article and hopefully help you make an informed decision. I’m pretty sure if you are currently up to date and have a TV and internet connection, you know which ones are the most advertised. Most of the time I see either eHarmony.com or Match.com aiming for my attention.

I even see specialty sites such as Farmersonly.com only and EliteSingles.com advertised ...

What’s better a paid or unpaid dating site?

Posted by:

I’ve recently moved from unpaid to a pay dating site. I can’t sit here and tell you that there are massive differences in how the services work. What I can say is that the people on the paid sites seem to be more invested. That’s not to say everyone that I encountered on an unpaid dating site was not invested but it felt harder.
Things are similar as far as setting up your profile but to me, a paid site is ...

These events, call Stir Events, are basically parties/get-togethers organized by Match.com where they bring a bunch of singles together and see what happens. Match.com Review

At any rate, I felt like it was time to give my review of Match.com. I’ll admit, I have a bias for the service since I had success with it, but I would argue I have a favorable bias for a good ...

Are Match.com Inactive Profiles Grounds for a Lawsuit?

Posted by:

On December 30, 2010, Match.com had a a federal lawsuit filed against it that alleges that the majority of profiles belong to scammers or are inactive members. Check this article out for the details. From the suit itself:

Yahoo! Personals Officially Finished

Posted by:

Earlier this week (July 21st to be exact) marked the last day that any user of Yahoo! Personals could switch to Match.com, the service that will be taking over all the accounts that previously existed within the Yahoo! service.

Yahoo! Personals is the first service I ever paid for when I started dating online. I never had success with this service and as I discuss in my online dating guide, I think it may have ...

Posted by:

According to a new Match.com commercial I’ve been seeing lately, 1 in 5 relationships are now started through online dating services. Still, even with that fact, there are a large number of singles who believe that online dating does not work, or at least not for them. With that in mind, I wanted to post a ...
