Okay, so this isn’t seriously happening this is pretty funny parody poking at the new TSA pat-downs.

Free dating sites have big benefits (they’re free!) but they often come at a cost, especially for the women who have to deal with lots of crazy emails. This post highlights one woman’s perspective and shares some of the crazy emails she has received. I always wonder who the people are who are writing these types of messages.

Dating scammers new approach: posing as deployed soldiers
Many dating scammers generally take the approach of gaining your trust while ensuring you can never meet and eventually asking for money. This is often accomplished by claiming to be a foreigner or having a job overseas. A new, and perhaps more believable, approach that scammers are taking is posing as deployed soldiers and then eventually asking for money. As I’ve said before, if money ever enters the picture there is a good chance you’re dealing with a scammer!

Online dating was illegal in Santa Monica?!
Online dating was technically illegal in Santa Monica, CA until recently. It was actually an antiquated law to prohibit “personal introductory service, marriage bureau, lonely hearts club, or other business of a like nature” but when online dating came along it fell under this law as well.
