Just getting my feet beneath me with online dating. What comes clear very fast is that there is a LOT of faking going on, lots of winks from “cardboard” profiles with boilerplate language and a GQ profile photo. One problem that most of us who have used online dating have run into is the fake profile. Currently, online dating services don’t make it very easy to spot these fake profiles (although some discourage it better than others).
