In this article I want to review eHarmony: what I like about the service, what I am not crazy about and some other areas that you should be aware of if you’re considering trying the service.

eHarmony Review

In this article I’ll be concentrating on reviewing eHarmony as a service and will not get into the nitty-gritty details of how the site works. If you’re interested in ...

Shopping for Your Next Date

Posted by:

Several months ago I was contacted by the folks who run AdoptAGuy.com describing their site. When I checked the site out I really did think it was a great and fun idea but somehow writing about it kept slipping my mind.

Now that I’m finally getting around to it I imagine many people have already heard of this service. However, for those who haven’t AdoptAGuy is a dating service that mixes shopping ...

“How About We…” Now Available Everywhere

Posted by:

Early this year I had discussed a new dating service called How About We…. Basically this service takes a very unique approach: instead of a traditional profile you suggest a first date you would like to go on. People then decide if they want to talk with you based on your suggestion.

I really like this idea as it’s a fun idea and removes a lot of the pressure of online dating (especially with profile creation). The only issue I ...

Rules for eHarmony Free Events

Posted by:

eHarmony Rules

This article might be better called “the apparent rules for eHarmony free events”. I say this because eHarmony can change the rules of their free events and weekends anytime they choose.

This fact is actually the reason I’m writing this article now: eHarmony has recently changed the way that their free events work (some of the time). I want to discuss the different rules for the different types of events ...

Jazzed.com – A New Site from eHarmony

Posted by:

I’ve been receiving emails from eHarmony lately about a new service called Jazzed.com. Years ago, Match.com responded to eHarmony by creating Chemistry.com (and they’re not afraid to point that out if you’ve seen any Chemistry comercials!). It appears that eHarmony is (finally) responding with Jazzed which will be their answer to Match.com. In other words, Jazzed will allow you to freely contact other members instead of contacting your matches which are provided based on personality.

PerfectMatch Review: Personality Meets Flexibility

Posted by:

In this review I’ll be discussing PerfectMatch, one of the major online dating services today. I would consider PerfectMatch to be a hybrid online dating service as it combines features of dating services that match you and dating services where you browse through all the singles. But I’ll get into that more later.

I will also be using this review as an introduction to PerfectMatch: I’m going to walk through each step of signing up and using the service while ...

Zoosk Review: A Social Online Dating Service

Posted by:

Zoosk is a rapidly growing online dating service that has gained a lot of popularity over the last few years. I hadn’t even realized how popular it had become: as I was preparing to write this article I stumbled upon the fact that Zoosk now has 2 million fans on Facebook. While I’m sure not all of them are still using the service, it still is an indicator of how much Zoosk has grown and how popular it has ...

Stop Unwanted Dating Site Auto-Renewals

Posted by:

Every pay online dating service that I am aware of has a policy where you are automatically auto-renewed at whatever subscription plan you select when first signing up. This means that if you sign up for six months, when your first six months comes to an end they will automatically renew you for another six months.

The dating services present this as a benefit by saying ...
