eHarmony Free Communication Weekend May 25 – 28

Posted by:

eHarmony will be having a free communication weekend starting this Friday, May 25th and running until the end of the day on Monday, May 28th 2012. As has been the case for several of the last free weekends, eHarmony is providing 4 days free for this free event.

eHarmony Free Communication Weekend 2012

I suspect this event will provide many of people with more opportunity than normal as Monday is Memorial Day and many of us will have more time to devote online (I also suspect this was no accident). Because of this, if you’ve frequently considered trying a free weekend but never followed through, this might be a great time to make the move. Another full day isn’t that much additional time but it could be the difference between finding a first date or not.

eHarmony continues to be a bit more generous this year in how often it is providing free weekends. After February last year, things were quiet for months with no free events occurring. This year, we seem to be back on pace with previous years where the events are occurring every month or every other month. eHarmony in Canada just had their 4-day free weekend wrap up last week (which from what I’m told is their version of the U.S.’s Memorial Day so, again, it doesn’t appear to be an accident!)

Good luck to anyone trying eHarmony this weekend. If you’re new to eHarmony free events, be sure to check out my post on the rules for eHarmony free weekends as it can be a bit confusing on what is limited when you first try it out.

Eharmony free communication thing is a scam it is not free you have to enter a credit card then you are supposedly not billed if you cancel before the time expires on the free weekend
if it were truly free then a card would not be required

DS – unless something changed recently, this isn’t the case. You can create you free account well in advance of the free weekend and then just start using it when the free weekend arrives. Not credit card needed. There are free trials that do require you to give you credit card first (I think Chemistry works this way with its 14 day trial) but the free weekends don’t. There are some limitations around the free weekends…is that what you’re referring to?

I just tried sending a “free weekend” communication to a woman, and after hitting the send button, it took me to a screen telling me the cost of membership. The email was not sent. I have been on eharmony for awhile now, just not a paying member. Now I’m not sure I want to join.

I’m on eharmony alleged free communicatton weekend in the uk and yet cannot communicate with anyone unless I pay and join. This can’t be right? Anyone else experiencing this?

Louis – I’m not very familiar with the free weekends in the UK although I’d expect they’d operate similarly.
